About Kelly Slatton

Kelly Slatton has been working in critical and acute care environments for over 20 years. He served six years as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and 12 years as a registered nurse (RN), with most of that experience centered in emergency medicine. Kelly also served as a Flight Nurse with EagleMed for over two years. Kelly’s broad range of nursing experience equips him to pull from a full arsenal of real-life examples and practical knowledge to use when teaching.

Kelly has training and experience in HazMat, weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT), with a GA3 DMAT deployment during Hurricane Isaac in 2012. In addition to working as a Student Health Nurse at Clemson University, Kelly serves as a CPR, A.L.I.C.E., Stop the Bleed, and First Care Provider Certified Instructor. Mr. Slatton is currently building on his passion for preparedness and clinical education by developing curriculum for a number of continuing education programs. He believes that developing effective training standards and continuous innovation are keys to the success of Etimos Group clients.
